The “exit work plan” consists of advising and accompanying a company executive in the planning of their job separation process.
We are convinced (and we validate this in practice) that an employee has the right to decide how he wants to leave the company in which he worked for years. We do not believe that the only options are resignation or dismissal, and even less going through an uncertain and exhausting labor lawsuit.
As lawyers, we can be a useful instrument to collaborate with our client in the design of their exit strategy (being clear about their legal alternatives and practical consequences), and at the same time, making our soft skills available to help you find (and use) your own negotiation tools.
From the employer’s point of view, achieving a friendly exit agreement on reasonable terms with an employee who has shown his loyalty and commitment for years is still a beneficial and superior option (in terms of personal ties, image, and optimization of time and costs).
The challenge: “exercise” our profession in an innovative way.
